Throughout our more than 40 year history, our civil/site engineers have been instrumental in helping our clients achieve their goals of successful development, whether the project is in a major urban area, a small town, a coastal region or within a university campus. We work with sites that are often severely constrained, developing cost-effective and innovative technical solutions.
  
  The range of our civil engineering services covers all phases of a project from beginning to end, including identification of key issues, site feasibility and engineering studies, preliminary through final design, site plan permitting packages, preparation of construction plans and specifications for bidding and construction, and construction phase services. We maintain a rigorous quality assurance/control program that has contributed to our reputation in the engineering profession for high quality work. BSC's technical expertise is complemented by in-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory processes, supported by our years of experience in successfully gaining approvals for projects in numerous jurisdictions.
  
  We recognize the value of ecologically responsible and sustainable development projects. As an example, an important component of our civil/site engineering practice is our experience designing storm water management systems that incorporate low impact development (LID) techniques, which seek to replace the traditional storage and removal of storm water with local, on-site recharging of runoff. Many of BSC’s site design professionals are LEED-accredited, and are adept at integrating "green" principles into the design process.
