

In his role as Executive Vice President, Charlie applies his 35 years of industry experience to BSC’s business planning and corporate management. With his background in engineering and planning in both the public and private sectors, Charlie is involved in all of BSC’s transportation projects. He works closely with state and local officials and citizen advisory groups to implement solutions that balance transportation, environmental and land development needs.
Charlie joined BSC in 1982 as a project manager and transportation group leader. He has provided his expertise to projects as varied as site master plans, transportation corridor planning studies, roadway and traffic signal design and bridge rehabilitation.
Charlie holds a BS in Civil Engineering from WPI and a Master in City Planning from Harvard University. He is a member of the Executive Committee of BSC, responsible for implementing the key strategic initiatives within the firm. He is a former President of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section of ASCE and the Transportation Agency Liaison Committee of ACEC/MA. In his spare time Charlie enjoys playing tennis, hiking and traveling the blue roads of New England.
