Dave has been with BSC since 1987, when he joined the firm as a project director responsible for private sector land development projects. During his tenure at BSC Dave has served in a variety of general management and project management roles, and continues to serve as a hands-on principal in charge of many of BSC's more complex projects. Dave is adept at building multidisciplinary teams, using both in-house staff and external consultant partners, to build strong technical teams with the experiences and abilities needed to develop effective and sustainable solutions for our clients. Dave is a member of BSC’s Executive Committee, which is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives within the firm. Dave also has responsibility for strategic market initiatives with the institutional market sector, and has been involved with projects on many college and university campuses in New England.
Prior to joining BSC Dave had more than ten years of overseas experience in land planning, site design and infrastructure development. This included work in his native Ireland as well as assignments in West Africa and the Philippines where he worked on infrastructure improvement projects ranging from small rural water supply to major urban redevelopment projects.
Dave is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Mathematics and Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin University, Ireland. Dave enjoys the outdoors, international travel, and golf.
