BSC’s continuing growth has created a great opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our multi-disciplinary design group in our Glastonbury CT office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment that values creative design solutions that can positively impact communities. Project types include, but are not limited to, public parks, athletic facilities, streetscapes, multi-family, schools, resiliency planning and mixed-use urban infill.
Landscape Architect /Site Project Manager with 10-plus years of experience in land development and site design, preferably with both public and private sector projects. Candidates preferably will have 3-4 years of experience in managing a design group, as well as project management roles including permitting and coordination with other design disciplines such as engineers, architects, and owners. Design skills required include site planning and layout, site design, planting design and an understanding of graphic software. Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Organizational and presentation skills, including experience with public hearings, are necessary. Must have CT PLA license or ability to obtain within a year, as well as Bachelor’s or Mater’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
