BSC continues to commit itself to conducting business in a way that minimizes its impact on the environment. By promoting energy efficiency; reducing the use of limited natural resources; implementing recycling programs; and becoming more involved in sustainable projects that adhere to LEED design standards, BSC is becoming more environmentally conscious each year. 2010 is no exception and once again, BSC has successfully implemented its recycling program for the year. Below is a summary of our recycling totals for 2010 and estimated environmental benefits:
- 14.94 estimated metric tons of carbon saved from the atmosphere
- 30,581 pounds of paper recycled, or approximately 259.99 trees saved
- 931 pounds of bottles and cans recycled
- 160 pounds of electronics equipment recycled
