BSC Group was awarded the 2008 ACE Award for the firm’s role in the design and construction of the University of Connecticut’s Burton Family Football Complex. The project, which received top honors in the Construction category, was recognized for its complexity of engineering design.
BSC provided integrated services for the design and construction of the 165,000 sf state of the art training facility. The training facility has been a key program element for the UConn football team as it moved up to NCAA – Division I competition. The facility achieved LEED Silver accreditation from the US Green Building Council and was the first facility for both the NCAA and UConn to achieve such status.
