BSC is proud of our work on corporate campuses to implement innovative designs that are visually appealing while being sensitive to the environment. Our team is currently lending this expertise to the development of a pollinator habitat report and Wildlife Habitat Council Certification for EMD Serono’s Billerica campus.
BSC’s efforts on this assignment have included analysis of existing and proposed habitat resources and development of a report outlining an approach to redevelop the campus and change maintenance practices and standards to benefit pollinators. This includes digital outreach platforms, community engagement activities, and presentations. The project aims to maximize the pollinator value of the campus, educate EMD staff and others by leading by example, and inspire a transformation of the built environment in the surrounding community.
