Gillian Davies, PWS, had the privilege of attending the 10th annual Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) World Conference in Darwin, Australia, this past September. Gillian delivered a presentation titled "Restoring the People to Wetlands Connection: Implementing the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Wetlands." During the conference, Gillian had the opportunity to meet and chat with distinguished figures such as Musonda Mumba, the Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, and Bethanie Walder, the Executive Director of the Society for Ecological Restoration.
