Katie Kemen leads BSC Group’s newly formed Water, Environment, & Community Solutions (WECS) platform as Service Leader, bringing together environmental engineering, ecological restoration, climate resilience, planning, coastal services, and water resources into one integrated team addressing complex environmental and community challenges.
Katie’s career has always lived at the intersection of disciplines. With a background in emergency management, public health, and business administration, she has built a track record of connecting disciplines to solve complex problems — bringing together people, data, and processes across teams to translate cross-functional challenges into clear, actionable plans. Her perspective from past private, non-profit, and governmental roles gives her a well-rounded lens for supporting both clients and her team.
In leading WECS, Katie is focused on building the operating structure — governance, coordination, and communication — that allows BSC’s technical experts across disciplines to work as one cohesive platform, delivering solutions that are both technically sound and responsive to community needs.
Katie holds an MBA and is a credentialed Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
