Mill Brook Crossing

BSC partnered with the Town of Athol to advance downtown revitalization while improving resilience to climate change. Working with the Town, our team secured MVP Action Grant funding to evaluate climate-resilient solutions for Mill Brook Crossing, formerly known as Lord Pond Plaza, addressing inland flooding, urban heat island impacts, and aging infrastructure.

Following the feasibility study, BSC continued through design, permitting, engineering, and community engagement to move the project toward implementation.

In 2024, the Town secured a $3 million MVP Action Grant for construction, and BSC provided construction administration services.
