Swift’s Park

BSC helped the Town of Easton transform Swift’s Park, a small triangular parcel in the Furnace Village Historic District, into a memorial park honoring first responders and victims of the 1918 Flu and COVID-19 pandemics while celebrating the district’s industrial heritage.

Working with the Swift’s Park Steering Committee and the community, BSC developed a community-informed concept design and master plan shaped by the Town’s goals and public input. BSC then advanced the project through final design and construction documents, managed the public bidding process, provided construction administration services, and assisted with funding applications.

Today, Swift’s Park serves as a lasting memorial, gathering space for civic events, and respite for pedestrians while reflecting the history and character of Furnace Village.
