Climate Resiliency Outreach for Northern New England Land Trusts

BSC provided climate resiliency outreach for northern New England land trusts, combining climate science and GIS expertise to help organizations integrate resilience strategies into their strategic conservation plans. Through training on the North Atlantic Landscape Conservation Collaborative’s Conservation Planning Atlas, hosted on the Data Basin platform, and The Nature Conservancy’s Resilient Mapping Tool, BSC helped land trusts identify ecologically resilient landscapes and prioritize conservation efforts that support long-term climate resilience. The team also provided guidance on ecosystem carbon cycling, conservation, and carbon storage, and delivered webinars that shared the climate resiliency planning process and best practices with organizations throughout the region.
