Overlook Life Care Community
BSC Group led overall site development for the multi-phased Overlook Life Care Community in Charlton, Massachusetts. The retirement community provides several levels of care, including a state-of-the-art health center, rest home, skilled nursing facility and residential complex. The three-phase development involved about 120 acres of the 450-acre, mountaintop Masonic Home property. The program expanded the organization’s existing facilities to include a renovated administration building, a new 114-bed skilled nursing facility with adult and child day care, a 69-bed rest home, a 200-unit independent living apartment facility, and 14 independent living cottages. The site also features a new chapel, indoor swimming pool, performing arts building, and maintenance garage.
