Since 1988, The Society for Ecological Restoration International (SER) has given a voice to the field of ecological restoration and has become known as the leader in this emerging discipline. Matt Waldrip, an environmental scientist with BSC Group, was recently elected secretary for SER’s New England chapter. The Board of Directors is elected by current members of the chapter and serves a two-year term. Matt graduated from Westfield State University with degrees in Environmental Science and Regional Planning. He regularly assists BSC Group’s clients in a full range of ecological issues, including wetland delineation, SWPPP inspections, and environmental permitting.
