Russell Burke, AICP, BSC Group’s Director of Planning, was appointed to the Town of Groton’s Planning Board. In this capacity, Russ will work with the board to consider zoning bylaws and regulations as they pertain to the community’s development in accordance with the Town’s Master Plan. He will also contribute to the review of subdivision plans to assure that future projects adhere to the Town’s long-term goals.
A Groton resident, Russ offers extensive public planning experience. He previously served as Planning Director for the Town of Needham and as a Senior Land Use Planner for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston. Russ will sit on the Groton Planning Board until 2009.
