Parkland Boundary & Encroachment Surveys

For more than 15 years, BSC has supported the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) with boundary and encroachment surveys across parklands statewide. These efforts confirm and establish parkland boundaries, document potential encroachments, and produce recordable plans for public records.

BSC’s work spans the Commonwealth – from Boston’s Factory Hill and Moynihan Park to the Quabbin Reservoir watershed and eastern Massachusetts properties such as Blue Hills Reservation and Cutler Park. These surveys help DCR protect and manage public lands while supporting the long-term stewardship of vital park resources.
