Blackstone Gateway Park

BSC partnered with the City of Worcester to create the City’s first urban ecological river park on 34 acres of conservation land. The project included planning, permitting, design, grant assistance, and construction administration for trails, boardwalks, overlooks, interpretive features, and habitat restoration.

Elevated boardwalks and pedestrian bridges provide access through sensitive wetlands while minimizing environmental impacts. The completed park supports recreation, environmental education, and appreciation of Worcester’s natural and industrial heritage.
