Coastal Resilience MVP Project

BSC partnered with the Town of Rockport, Massachusetts to identify Nature-based Solutions (NbS) that strengthen resilience to sea level rise and coastal storms.

Through a community-driven process, the team evaluated coastal ecosystems and developed strategies to protect and enhance ecosystem services. Engagement included site walks, public events, youth programming, and educational materials, including infographics and a project StoryMap.

BSC delivered a prioritized set of NbS strategies across multiple coastal sites, along with preliminary scopes and cost estimates to support implementation and position the Town for future funding opportunities.
