Neponset River Greenway Tenean Beach to Morrissey Boulevard

BSC Group was selected to design the section of the Neponset River Greenway from Tenean Beach to Morrissey Boulevard to advance the physical connection from the Blue Hills Reservation to Boston. The goals of this project are to provide a safe greenway connection to Morrissey Boulevard, provide access to the waterfront, and to make improvements to the habitat value of the corridor. This project is a great example of a successful MassTrails project through partnership with DCR and MassDOT for design and construction funding.

In partnership with Lin Associates (structural engineering) and Crosby Schlessinger Smallridge (landscape architecture), BSC provided survey, trail alignment design, traffic engineering, utilities and stormwater design, and environmental permitting. BSC remains integrated in the project for the duration of construction.
