West Chop Loop Safety Improvements
BSC supported the West Chop Club in advancing practical safety improvements along the West Chop Loop, a seasonal corridor with heavy pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle activity. Following site walks, stakeholder coordination, and an assessment of corridor conditions, BSC developed near-term recommendations including pavement markings, crosswalks, signage, and movable speed tables.
Implemented in 2026, the improvements enhance visibility, clarify pedestrian and bicycle movement, support safer vehicle speeds, and strengthen public-private collaboration for community-wide benefit.
