The Boston Children’s Museum expansion project recently received LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council.
BSC Group provided civil/site and transportation engineering services to support the design of a 20,000 sf waterfront addition to the historic Boston institution. Notably, the project received approval for all site and water quality credits that were attempted as part of the LEED application process.
In addition to BSC’s design work, BSC prepared technical aspects of a Section 319 Non-Point Source Pollution Control Grant application that resulted in $500,000 in funding from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection pollution prevention program.
