The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection recently revised the Massachusetts Stormwater Handbook to address changes to the Wetlands Protection Act Regulations and the 401 Water Quality Certification Regulations. To help our clients better understand these changes and how they affect future land development projects, BSC Group kicked off a Summer Learning Series.
Led by senior ecological and civil engineering staff who have served as members of the DEP’s Stormwater Working Group, the first program addressed how the changes to the regulations affect redevelopment projects. In addition to discussing the changes to the regulations, the program recommended solutions for achieving compliance.
