BSC Selected to Design the Replacement of a Failed Culvert for the City of Meriden

BSC was recently selected by the City of Meriden, under an on-call contract, to provide final design services for the replacement of the City’s failed Kensington Avenue Bridge culvert. This project requires close coordination with CTDOT, as construction funding for the culvert is provided under a state grant program that allows eligible municipal bridges and culverts to receive state funds with oversight from the agency. BSC had provided the City with a preliminary design report for the culverts’ replacement, now moving onto its final design phase, BSC will perform a supplemental field survey and hydraulic analysis, prepare an abbreviated preliminary design, conduct environmental permitting, and execute a final design for the culvert, complete with bid documents.
