Congratulations to BSC Group’s Jeffrey Malloy and Katie Moniz, PE, who recently earned the designation of Certified Floodplain Manager. This certification will support strengthen the qualifications of BSC’s climate change resiliency design and planning practice.
The certified floodplain manager program recognizes the professional and educational accomplishments of individuals with expertise in issues associated with flood damage as well as its prevention and recovery. The role of the floodplain manager is especially critical as public and private stakeholders plan for and mitigate the risks of flood damage and disaster loss associated with climate change.
