In celebration of International Women’s Day, BSC Group has named Marissa Valentino, PE and Rachel Salch, PLA as co-chairs of the firm’s Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG). The ERG, formed by BSC’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, provides a forum for colleagues to support each other in their professional growth and development.
Marissa said, “International Women’s Day represents celebrating the past achievements of women, as well as working together to promote an equal (and better) world.”
Rachel commented, “International Women’s Day represents the hope that we are working together to better understand women’s needs and their roles in society; celebrating what women bring to the table.”
As co-chairs, Marissa and Rachel will be tasked with guiding the ERG’s activities. So far, these have included a book discussion, as well as supportive meetings and social gatherings.
