BSC Parks Demonstrate Importance of Open Space

Parks and open space have taken on new importance as many people have turned to outdoor recreation as a means to get outside, stay connected to the community, and get some exercise. BSC’s parks and trails are key elements of our community’s natural resource network and contribute a valuable function to our shared response.

In celebration of World Landscape Architecture Month, we encouraged our colleagues to share pictures of themselves connecting with outdoor resources, both at locations within BSC’s portfolio and the larger community. Director of Transportation Peter Reed took a spin on the Assabet River Rail Trail; Principal John Hession and his wife Ann enjoyed a ride on the Neponset River Greenway; Planner Jeanette Tozer walked her dog Jolene at Blackstone Gateway Park; and Director of Marketing Lorna Martin and her daughter Abby enjoyed a sunset at Houghton’s Pond.

“Enjoy the world; it’s still out there!” Principal Sean Ewald reminded our team.
